Portrait Sessions:
You may book a portrait session at my studio or at any location of your choice. My studio is
in a turn-of-the–century storefront located in historic Old town Lafayette. See Directions.
During the session, I use a digital monitor to help us communicate visually. This collaborative
method of portrait photography seems to work well for my clients and myself.
Typical costs for a portrait session are $150 to $300, depending on time & materials used.
I prefer scheduling sessions for either the morning or the afternoon on Tuesdays, Wednesdays
& Thursdays of each week. Other days & times can be arranged if needed.
Clothing Suggestions:
For a wide variety of images, please bring a wide range of clothing and anything else you
imagine could possibly work for a great portrait! The more we have to choose from the better.
Subtle patterns or solids are safe bets. Wild, dramatic patterns and contrasting light and dark
tones may upstage your face.
Print Prices
For the sizes most often ordered, (5x to 16x) the black & white or sepia prints range from
$95 to $445 for the first master print. Additional copies are discounted 25 - 40%.
Directions to the Studio:
From the intersection of Hwy. 287 and Baseline Rd., go east to the light at North Public Rd.
and turn right. Proceed 2 blocks south to the light at Simpson St. and turn left. Drive 2 1/2
blocks and park near the large sign hanging over my door “THE PHOTOGRAPHER”.
Payments & Procedures
Payment for portrait sessions is due upon completion of the session.
Payment for prints is 1/3 to start the order and balance upon completion of the order.
Retouching and artwork is additional. Cash, checks & visa / mastercard accepted.
Please call or email me with any questions, comments, or ideas you might have. I would also be
pleased to meet you at the studio for a tour / consultation. Since I’m frequently in the darkroom,
(not at the studio), appointments are highly recommended if you want a chat in person. You are
always welcome to cruise by the studio and see more of my photographs from the front windows
any time you choose.
