Fine Art / Beauty is definitely in the eye of the beholder, because we all respond to images
based on our own internal mysteries. My goal in portraiture is to go beyond the normal
expectations of a portrait and create images worthy of the label “Fine Art”.
This is an extremely elusive goal. The difference between “trite” and “timeless” is often just a
fleeting glance, an unconscious movement, or a subtle shift in the balance of light and shadow.
If you see any images on this web site or in my studio that you wish to purchase for your
home or workplace, let me know by phone or email, and with the permission of the subject,
(if applicable), I will be happy to make custom prints for you.
